This question is nearly impossible for me to answer. Not only because there are a countless amount of admirable professions out there, but because it’s more about the human that takes on the role, as opposed to the role that the human fills. What good is a social worker who lacks integrity, kindness, and initiative? Or a doctor who doesn’t grant their patient autonomy or respects their confidentiality? Or a dog walker who chooses to forcibly yank the leash instead of practicing patience?
I think it’s less about the profession, and more about the person, and whether or not the person decides to do something admirable with their work.
